Hi everyone,

I hope you’ve had a great week! Can you believe Christmas is just a few days away? This year, Doug and I will be spending it with his family in LA, and then we’re heading to Ojai for a few days to relax and unwind.

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I was in Vancouver on December 8th for Taylor Swift’s final Eras Tour show. It was such a memorable experience, and I couldn’t wait to share the highlights with you—including three delicious meals we squeezed into the weekend (thanks for all the great recommendations!).

Below you’ll also find a recipe for a warming, nourishing Italian wedding soup that I cooked last week. I hope you love this one as much as I do!

What I Cooked Last Week! ↓

Italian Wedding Soup

This soup is soothing and satisfying and packed with veggies. The escarole greens get added at the end, which gives the perfect texture pop to the soup.

Candy Apples

I inherited my love of candy apples from my mom. We always used to get them at Disneyland and this year we decided to make them at home. They were so easy and delicious with that crispy, cinnamon candy coating.

36 hours in Vancouver for Taylor Swift ✨

All glammed up for Taylor Swift (my cousin, my aunt, my mom, and me!)

I’ve been a Taylor Swift fan since high school—my friends and I used to blast her music in the car, scream the lyrics, and watch her music videos on repeat. After a bit of a break from her music in my mid twenties, I’ve fallen in love with it all over again these past couple of years. She’s so inspiring—her lyrics are incredible, she clearly loves what she does, and she works SO hard.

I’d been dying to see the Eras Tour, but Doug isn’t a big fan, so he suggested I go with my mom (lol). She’d already seen Taylor with her girlfriends in Madrid during a water polo tournament, so I started persistently convincing her (as you saw in my interview with her), saying, “This will be something we remember forever!” Eventually, she agreed.

A few weeks later, my aunt and cousin heard about our plans and decided to join us. My cousin worked the same magic on her mom, and before we knew it, we had a family reunion in Vancouver! My mom, aunt (who’s just a year younger than her), cousin (four years younger than me), and I spent a whirlwind weekend together. Of course, we made food a priority. My cousin is a pro at scoring reservations, so we had a fantastic lineup of meals.
